Card image files may be combined, sorted and merged. A sequence number (unique value) can be added to a card image data file based on the contents of a field. Card image data assumes an 80 character record. The input and output maximum is 400 cards per respondent or 64,000 characters.
For card image data, select the file type of card image and one of the following options:
Combine/Sort to combine multiple files, sort and apply duplicate filters
Merge Files to merge a primary and secondary record based on matching key values.
Sequence to add a sequence number to a card image data file based on the contents of a field and to produce a frequency listing of the field values.
