AND is a logical operator. Use it to define combined conditions:

GENDER (1) AND INCOME (6)

or

4/10 (1) AND 4/20 (6)

The above statement could also be written as:

GENDER (1) & INCOME (6)

or

4/10 (1) & 4/20 (6)
