Renumber

You may want tables sequentially renamed if you have tables with duplicate names or if you have inserted a table.

If a single table is selected in the Tables list box, the Renumber option will rename all tables below the selected table. Tables will be renamed sequentially from the selected table down.
If the starting Table name is numeric, tables will be renamed in numeric sequential order from the selected table down.
If the starting Table name is alphanumeric, tables will be reamed in alphanumeric sequential order from the selected table down.

If more than one contiguous table is selected in the Tables list box, the Renumber option will rename only the selected tables. Tables will be renamed sequentially from the first selected table to the end of the selection.
If the starting Table name is numeric, tables will be renamed in numeric sequential order from the first selected table to the end of the selection.
If the starting Table name is alphanumeric, tables will be reamed in alphanumeric sequential order from the first selected table to the end of the selection.

If more than one non-contiguous table is selected in the Tables list box, the Renumber option will be disabled.
As an alternative to Renumber you can use the Automatically renumber tables added option in Add Table(s) of Setup|Tables to automatically rename all tables added.
