File|Save|Save Data File Information

Save Data File Information lets you save information about the open data file.

Select View|Data File Information to open the Data File Information window for a preview of the information you will be saving.

You can choose from the following options for saving your data file information file:

To a Local Destination

• Saves your data file information file to a local or network folder of your choice.
• You can choose from the Recent folders dropdown list to locate a desired folder.
• If you want to manually enter a filename, click anywhere within the File name: field and type the name. You will need to include the full filepath if you want the data file information file to reside in a folder other than that displayed.

You can choose the following formats by selecting the dropdown arrow from the File type list box on the Save Data File Information dialog box:

• Plain Text Reports (*.rpt) - (default format)
• Comma Delimited (*.csv)
