you save a report file for the first time or save it using a different
name and/or file type than the current report file.
Reports that can be saved include Tables, ExpressTabs, Frequency, Marginal,
Sample
Balancing, Factor

You
can choose from the following options for saving your report file:

- Saves your report file to a local
or network folder of your choice.
- You
can choose from the Recent folders
dropdown list to locate a desired folder.
- If you want to manually enter a filename,
click anywhere within the File
name: field and type the name. You will need to include
the full filepath if you want the report file to reside in a folder
other than that displayed.
You can choose the following formats by selecting
the dropdown arrow from the File type
list box on the Save Report File
dialog box:
Plain
Text Reports (*.rpt) - (default format)
| Note: ExpressTabs reports cannot be

Enhanced
Text Reports (*.xml)
- When
saving your report as a custom-formatted XML file it can be subsequently
viewed within—or
printed from—your
Internet browser.
- When saving your report as a custom-formatted
XML file, WinCross creates four ancillary files having the same prefix
as its parent *.xml file.
For example, if you saved your report as client.xml,
WinCross automatically creates the following:
- client.css
- client_menu.htm
- client_content.htm
- client_run.htm
- If you are saving a WinCross *.xml file to a folder in which
you have not previously saved *.xml
reports, two additional (generic) files, wccntent.xsl
and wcmenu.xsl, are automatically
copied to the same folder by WinCross.
Microsoft Word/Rich Text Format
(*.rtf)
- retains variable pitch fonts, different styles and extended characters.
Microsoft
Excel 1997-2003 (*.xls)
Microsoft
Excel 2007-2013 (*.xlsx)

Text Report image of your WinCross tables to Excel.
- The
cell values reflect the numbers in WinCross not the actual Excel values.
- When saving your report as
Microsoft Excel 1997-2003 (*.xls)
or Microsoft Excel 2007-2013 (*.xlsx),
the report is produced as one worksheet within one workbook regardless
of the number of banners and tables processed.
- If the Run|Tables
option of Interweave
banners was selected, your Excel report will reflect
this selection.
