Job Settings lets you specify table presentation options, job title options, enhanced text report options, page layout options, summary row options, statistics row options, wording for statistic and summary rows, statistics options and rounding options, small sample size options and filter options for an existing job file.
Profile Settings lets you specify table presentation options, job title options, report formatting options, enhanced text report options, page layout options, chart style options, summary row options, statistics row options, wording for statistic and summary rows, statistics options, filter options and rounding options and small sample size for a new job file. You can also create, save, load and remove WinCross profiles.
Glossary Variables lets you write statements using commands that define, recode, assign and compute current and new variables. This option lets you convert multi-punch data to ASCII format and output a revised data file.
Express Tables from Variable Data lets you easily create tables from variables in your variable type data file or edit existing tables in your job file.
Tables lets you create rows for each table, define the filter, set table and row functions and specify table and row statistics.
Globally Modify Tables lets you add, remove or modify options for any or all currently created tables.
Banner Templates from Variable Data lets you create a banner template from variables in your variable type data file or open an existing banner template. You can also add the banner template as a banner in your open job file.
Banners lets you enter banner specifications, apply weighting and specify statistical testing.
Enhanced Text Report Fonts and Colors lets you modify the appearance of your report when selecting Enhanced text report as the Report viewing format on the Run Tables dialog box.
Memorized Reports lets you create a series of Run|Tables, Run|Frequency and/or Run|Marginal selections and save these selections for future processing.
Your table, filter, row and banner specifications are saved in a job file (*.job). No changes are made to your data file (unless you choose to output a revised data file based on glossary variable statements or edit data using File|Open|Open Data). The results of your reports are saved in a report file (*.rpt, *.xml, *.rtf, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.pptx, *.pdf). See About File Types for more information about files.
Sample files, named EXAMPLE*.*, are included in the Example subfolder when you install WinCross. We refer to these files in examples throughout the WinCross online help. You can use these example files to see how various WinCross functions work.
