Cut
Select Cut to delete or move the current row selected in the Rows list box. Cut removes the row from the list and temporarily stores it in the WinCross memory buffer (this is different than the Windows Clipboard). You can insert the row anywhere else in the list using Paste (described below).
Use Cut with caution when moving rows. The memory buffer holds the contents of only the most recent Cut or Copy. When you Cut or Copy again, whatever is already in the buffer is overwritten.
Copy
Select Copy to copy the current row selected in the Rows list box. The row remains in its current position and a copy is temporarily stored in the WinCross memory buffer. You can insert a copy of the row anywhere else in the list using Paste (described below).
It’s safer to use Copy than Cut when rearranging rows, since Cut removes the row from its current position. Because the WinCross memory buffer only holds the contents of the most recent Cut or Copy, the row that was Cut is overwritten if another Cut or Copy operation is performed before the initial cut row is pasted.
Paste
To insert the row that is temporarily stored in the memory buffer as a
result of Copy or Cut,
move the cursor to the desired location and select Paste.
The row is inserted after the currently selected row.
Delete
Select Delete to delete the selected row. Delete removes the selected row from the list and does not hold the row in the WinCross memory buffer.
