Syntax Checking
WinCross provides interface
and run time syntax checking.
- Interface syntax checking (Setup|Glossary
Variables, Setup|Tables and Setup|Banners)
allows you to enter variable names for variables that currently
do not exist in your open data file but will be added later.
- Interface syntax checking for variables
that currently do not exist in your open data file will issue a warning
message
- Run time syntax checking will not
allow your tables to process with existing syntax errors.
- Syntax errors encountered at run
time are written to the WinCross report log and can be viewed using
View|Report
Log.
