File|New Job

Note: Starting a new job does not have any bearing on an open data file. If you have opened a data file, it remains in memory.

Choose File|New Job to stop working on the current job and/or begin a new job. The current job is removed from memory and the WinCross application title bar displays New Job. Before initializing the new job, WinCross prompts you to save the current job file or any current report files that have unsaved changes.

File|New Job is a required selection for creating a new job and will prompt you for the selection of a profile to be used as the initial settings for the new job:

Settings - WinCross now requires you to select a profile to use for creating your new job.

Use settings from the active profile - uses the settings from the active profile for creating the new job.
The active profile is listed in the box below the Use settings from the active profile option.
To select a new active profile for creating the job, choose the profile from the dropdown list of choices.
Express Tables from Variable Data is automatically launched after selection of the active profile when you have a variable type data file open.

Note: You can close the Express Tables for Variable Data dialog if you are not ready to create tables or prefer to create tables using Setup|Tables.
