Variable Options only
apply to charts that reference a variable and not banner x table combination.
Variables are converted to charts without the need to first create a table.
Filter
- Filter
Type Total - Total includes all cases in the data file including
blanks/missing data.
- Filter
Type Total answering - Total answering includes all cases that
meet the table filter. Only respondents that qualify for the
chart are included.
- Filter
logic - Filter logic restricts the data processing to cases
that meet the condition. Filter logic can be simple, or complex and
up to 1024 characters.
Options
- Data
to use for charts - Choose between showing frequencies or vertical
percent.
- Rank
- Choose between ranking the chart in ascending or descending order.

- Code
Value - Chart series are shown using the code value order.
I.e., 1, 2 3, etc...
- Frequency/Vertical
percents - Chart series are rank ordered by the frequency/vertical
percent.
- Tip:
Depending on chart type adjust the Rank
from ascending to descending.
- Code
label - Chart series are shown alphabetically using the
code label. I.e., Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, etc...
- Tip:
Depending on chart type adjust the Rank
from ascending to descending.
- Decimal
places - Adjust the number of decimal places to display
on the chart. Default is 0.
- Weight
- Apply a single weight to the entire chart that affects all columns/rows.
