Tab delimited files may be combined and/or sorted. A sequence number (unique value) can be added to a tab delimited data file based on the contents of a field. Input and output records are limited to a maximum of 64,000 characters.
For tab delimited data, select the file type of tab delimited and one of the following options:
Combine/Sort to combine multiple files, sort and apply duplicate filters
Merge Files to merge a primary and secondary record based on matching key values.
Sequence to add a sequence number to a tab delimited data file based on the contents of a field and to produce a frequency listing of the field values.
To quit or exit, select the Close button.
